Bakhtiār or Bakhtiyār (Persian: بختیار meaning lucky), also spelled as Bakhtyar, Baxtiyar, Baxtiyor and Bahtiyar, is a Persian given name for boys, popular in Iran, Central Asia, and among the Muslims of South Asia.
